Seguendo questa prospettiva sta realizzando un ambizioso progetto per la produzione di lavelli in composito. In a challenging context, our company never loses sight of its core material, stainless steel, evaluating and studying eco-technologies with the assistance of specialised technicians and professionals. Since 2018, SUPERLUX, an OEM firm specialising in the production of hand-finished bowls, has been part of the CM Group. This new addition has given us the capacity to meet a huge range of market demands. Currently, CM is challenging the market by seizing new opportunities and demand for new materials. As part of this approach, the group is now working on an ambitious project to produce composite sinks. New plant and new production systems, with the most up-to-date processing and stamping systems. It is a challenge that goes beyond the present, into the future.

8 Il materiale impiegato è Acciaio Inossidabile “AISI 304 18/10”, cosiddetto perché caratterizzato da un rapporto cromo/nickel costituito dal 18% di cromo (che accresce la durezza e la resistenza all’abrasione e al tempo stesso conferisce lucentezza e durata) e 10% di nickel (che conferisce forza e resistenza agli urti). La conferma tangibile presso la clientela CM della qualità del materiale impiegato è il marchio rilasciato dal Centro Inox (Associazione Italiana per lo Studio e lo Sviluppo delle applicazioni degli Acciai Inossidabili). Questo marchio, attesta che il materiale impiegato è esclusivamente acciaio inossidabile secondo la norma EN10020, che è igienico, atossico, resistente alle alte e basse temperature, riciclabile al 100%, con un raffinato e versatile aspetto estetico, assolutamente inalterabile nel tempo e di lunga durata con la principale caratteristica di non arrugginire se esposto all’aria e all’acqua. L’acciaio inossidabile ha infatti una proprietà che lo rende unico: si autoprotegge. Grazie ai suoi elementi di lega, sulla sua superfice si forma un sottile e trasparente “ strato passivo”. Si tratta di un film protettivo, costituito da soli pochi atomi di elementi di lega – ossidi composti di cromo, che quando viene graffiato o scalfito si autorigenera immediatamente a contatto con l’ossigeno contenuto nell’acqua o nell’aria, proteggendo così il materiale sottostante dall’attacco corrosivo. Semplicemente questo materiale non può arrugginire in quanto sulla sua superficie è già presente un ossido, l’ossido di cromo. The material used is “AISI 304 18/10” stainless steel, so called because of its chromium/nickel ratio with 18% chromium (to increase hardness and abrasion resistance while giving shine and durability) and 10% nickel (to give strength and impact resistance). The Centro Inox label (Italian Association for the Design and Development of Stainless Steel Applications) gives CM’s customers tangible proof of the quality of our material. This mark attests that only EN10020 compliant stainless steel is used; a hygienic, non-toxic material that can withstand high and low temperatures, is 100% recyclable, has a long-lasting elegant and versatile look, and has the important property of not rusting when exposed to air and water. Stainless steel has a unique property: it is self-protecting. A fine, transparent patina forms on its surface, thanks to the alloy elements. It is a protective film made up of only a few atoms of alloy elements – oxides composed of chromium, which is in immediate contact with the oxygen contained in water or air when scratched or heated, thereby protecting the underlying material from corrosive attack. The label, issued by Centro Inox Servizi srl (a subsidiary Company of Centro Inox, the Italian Association for the Design and Development of Stainless Steel Applications) differentiate the “stainless steel” material as defined in EN10020 standard. Stainless steel is an alloy that joins mechanical resistance properties of steel to a corrosion high resistance. It is a hygienic, non-toxic material that can withstand high and low temperatures, is 100% recyclable, has an elegant and versatile look, and if chosen, processed and treated appropriately, is very long-lasting and durable. This label accompanies the wording “inox 18/10”, which identifies the type of steel. Tale garanzia copre i difetti di: - materiale; si garantisce che il lavello sia prodotto con acciaio inox AISI 304 18/10 - produzione / lavorazione; si garantisce che: • il lavello, dopo la corretta installazione, nell’ambito e ai fini di normali e consuete pratiche di utilizzo domestico, si presenti privo di parti taglienti e/o comunque in altri modi possibilmente pericolose; • il lavello, subordinatamente ad uso appropriato e ad una manutenzione corretta, rimanga integro in termini di tenuta e saldatura (ossia che le saldature non si dissaldino e che le vasche rimangano a tenuta stagna); • il lavello viene fornito completo di tutti i componenti come da dotazione contrattuale. Dal taglio del foglio, partendo dal coils, si stampano prima le vasche, poi il gocciolatoio e per ultime le piegature perimetrali. Tutto ciò in linea automatica. Al termine di queste operazioni, i lavelli vengono satinati e infine lavati e imballati per la spedizione. Poiché la lavorazione necessita di meno passaggi manuali si definiscono lavelli “entry level”. L’estetica è garantita da buoni materiali, tecnologie innovative e nuovi macchinari ottenendo un risultato dal design molto soddisfacente. Di questa gamma fanno parte vari modelli con differenti caratteristiche e valore. MONO-STAMPED SINKS: it’s about sinks obtained, with various steps, from a single metal sheet. From the sheet cut of the coils: bowls are printed first, then the drainer and, as last, the perimetral folds. All this in an automatic line. At the end of these operations, to the sinks is given the satin finishing, they are washed and packed to be shipped. Since the working needs fewer manual steps, these sinks are defined “entry level”. The aesthetic is guaranteed from good materials, innovative technologies and new machineries, obtaining a very satisfying design result. This range includes several models with different features and values. LAVELLI CON VASCHE SALDATE: si tratta di lavelli in cui le vasche e il piano vengono saldati assieme. Dal taglio del foglio del coils si stampano pianale e vasche separatamente, poi si saldano assieme e vengono smerigliati e satinati, in linee automatiche. Anche questi poi vengono lavati ed infine imballati per la spedizione. Questa tecnologia permette di raggiungere profondità di vasche maggiori arrivando fino a 21 cm, raggiature e angoli di raccordo più piccoli o inferiori rispetto ai lavelli monostampati ottenendo così un design moderno. Anche in questa gamma sono disponibili diversi modelli dallo stile differente. SINKS WITH WELDED BOWLS: it’s about sinks in which bowls, and the worktop, are welded together. From the sheet cut of the coils, bowls and worktop are first printed separately, then they are welded together, grinded and satin in automatic lines, washed and, finally, packed to be shipped. This technology allows to reach bigger bowls depths up to 21 cm, radius and connection corners smaller, or lower than mono-stamped sinks, obtaining a modern design. In this range are included several models with different features and values, too. LAVELLI E VASCHE A RAGGIO ZERO O RAGGIATE IN GENERE: si tratta di lavelli e vasche di alto design. I quadrotti di materia prima vengono tagliati nei laser, secondo le sagome occorrenti, poi piegati e saldati sugli angoli di parete e sul bordo superiore. Segue la smerigliatura, la satinatura e l’incollaggio delle staffe di aggancio. A conclusione il lavaggio ed imballaggio per la spedizione. Questo tipo di lavorazione permette di creare modelli dalle forme più svariate e si propone di realizzare la qualità di un design sempre innovativo. Si tratta di linee destinate ad un prodotto che è il risultato di tecnologia e ottima manualità. L’investimento produttivo comporta la necessità di disporre di manodopera molto specializzata, con competenze dalla progettazione alla produzione. Un investimento che guarda al capitale umano, capace di garantire un prodotto unico. ZERO RADIUS/RADIUS BOWLS AND SINKS: It’s about sinks and bowls of high design. 15 CMSpA A termine del processo meccanico di satinatura, viene attestata la conformità del prodotto. La qualità del prodotto è costantemente garantita da un processo produttivo e ispettivo ben strutturato e dalla professionalità ed esperienza della forza lavoro, composta di uno staff tecnico qualitativo. Prima dell’imballaggio, viene effettuato inoltre un controllo visivo non a campione, bensì ad ogni singolo prodotto. At the end of satin mechanical process, product conformity is attested. 16 Metal sheet thickness: often, the final user, technically inexperienced, asks for a higher thickness, thinking this guarantees the robustness of the item. Actually, it is not that, because the key factors for the sink rigidity, for the drainer in particular, are all the working processes. First of all, mechanical working for stamping the drainer drawing: greater is the sheet bending, greater is its own strength. Just think about a paper sheet: if you let it flat, as it is, it is highly flexible; if you fold it in two, it becomes less flexible, if you fold it again, like for example an accordion (instrument), it becomes highly rigid. Crushed edges: a special system for sinks edges working that guarantees a precise installation and a waterproofing effect, without the chance to have water infiltrations. The edging is made by folding the metal sheet on itself. No sharp corners or edges on the perimeter, extreme robustness and fixing precision to the worktop thanks for the edge with the double folded metal sheet. Lo spessore della lamiera: sovente l’utente finale, che non è tecnicamente esperto del prodotto, richiede uno spessore elevato della lamiera pensando sia garanzia di robustezza del prodotto; in realtà i fattori determinanti per la rigidità del lavello, in particolare dello scolapiatti, sono le lavorazioni e la tecnologia di lavorazione. Innanzitutto, le lavorazioni meccaniche per stampare il disegno stesso dello scolapiatti con le nervature: infatti più si snerva e si piega la lamiera, più si irrobustisce. Basti pensare ad un semplice foglio di carta: se lo si lascia steso è altamente flessibile, se lo si piega in due diventa più rigido, se addirittura lo si piega a fisarmonica lo diventa ancor di più. I bordi schiacciati: un sistema speciale per la lavorazione del bordo dei lavelli che garantisce una precisa installazione ed una totale impermeabilizzazione del bordo stesso senza possibilità quindi che si verifichino infiltrazioni d’acqua sottostanti. La bordatura viene eseguita ripiegando la lamiera su se stessa e facendola poi terminare nelle normali alette di fissaggio. Ciò equivale a non avere spigoli e bordi taglienti sul perimetro e una robustezza estrema con conseguente precisione di fissaggio al top grazie appunto al bordo con doppia lamiera ripiegata. LO SPESSORE DELLA LAMIERA METAL SHEET THICKNESS I BORDI SCHIACCIATI CRUSHED EDGES Gasket applied: an automatic machinery applies directly, to the sink, the gasket, instead of the manual work of the installer; guarantee of a skillfully execution, assuring also a perfect sealing between the contact point of sink and worktop. The machinery mixes two components giving rise to a polyurethane substance, completely no toxic, that it is laid, in very few seconds, along all CM sinks perimeter. The gasket dries in just a few minutes, leaving the sink ready for shipment within normal delivery times. Guarnizione applicata: un macchinario automatico applica direttamente la guarnizione al lavello, in sostituzione al lavoro manuale dell’installatore, con conseguente garanzia di un’esecuzione sempre a regola d’arte assicurando una perfetta sigillatura del punto di contatto tra lavello e piano di lavoro. La macchina dosatrice miscela i due componenti, che uniti formano una sostanza poliuretanica, completamente atossica, che viene stesa in pochi secondi lungo tutto il perimetro dei lavelli CM. Nel giro di pochi minuti la guarnizione è asciutta ed il lavello è pronto per la spedizione, nel pieno rispetto dei normali tempi di consegna. 18 I prodotti CM vengono forniti con un manuale installazione provvisto di quote specifiche di foratura top, per la versione scelta. Ogni prodotto é dotato di piletta sifone, ganci e sigillante. Tutto per non lasciare nulla al caso, facilitare l’installazione, velocizzare i tempi e garantire un ottimo lavoro. CM products are supplied with an installation manual that includes specific quotes of worktop drilling, for the chosen version. Each item is equipped with waste kit, siphon, clips and sealant. All of this for not leaving anything to chance: Make the installation easier, make times faster, guarantee an excellent job. Fornitura completa Full supply Ogni lavello è frutto di un’attenta ricerca tecnologica, le tecniche di lavorazione usate sono di ultima generazione, le più moderne esistenti. Ogni nostra creazione è la sintesi tra tecnologia e funzionalità, dove il design più attuale si esprime attraverso linee innovative e accattivanti. Ricerca l’eleganza delle forme e la perfezione dei dettagli. Auto - protezione contro la ruggine e il tempo. L’acciaio inossidabile 18/10 - AISI 304 è resistente alle corrosioni, evita l’attacco della ruggine, inoltre, se la superficie viene graffiata o danneggiata in altri modi lo strato ossidato si riforma instantaneamente a contatto con l’ossigeno, evitando cosi la corrosione e mantenendo i lavelli brillanti anche a distanza di tempo. Gioielli d’acciaio Qualità Da sempre l’acciaio inox viene scelto nelle cucine e nell’arredamento per le sue indiscutibili qualità di durata, funzionalità e praticità. La ricerca rappresenta la massima evoluzione di queste qualità e i suoi lavelli sono sempre più apprezzati perche offrono il meglio dell’acciaio inox. Pulizia L’acciaio è in assoluto il materiale più igienico. L’acciaio inox è una lega che unisce le proprietà meccaniche degli acciai a quelle anticorrosive tipiche dei metalli nobili. Bastano piccole attenzioni e poco tempo per mantenere inalterata tutta la lucentezza e la bellezza dei lavelli. Per la pulizia è consigliabile l’utilizzo di detergenti neutri, a base di alcool o aceto, ottimo l’uso della crema detergente “Buffel Inox”. Dopo l’uso il lavello va asciugato con un panno in microfibra per evitare la formazione di incrostazioni e di zone opache. In tal caso sarà sufficiente pulire con un panno inumidito di alcool denaturato. Buffel Inox e panno in microfibra sono disponibili a richiesta con l’acquisto del lavello. L’acciaio satinato va lavato ed asciugato seguendo il senso della satinatura. Evitare l’appoggio prolungato di spugne bagnate, sale, sostanze corrosive o di oggetti molto caldi e ferrosi. Rigature e graffi possono essere causati da usi impropri del lavello, evitate quindi di utilizzarlo come piano di lavoro per tagliare. Always the stainless steel is chosen for kitchen and furnishings thanks to the undisputed quality, functionality and practicality. Research represents the maximum evolution of these qualities and its sinks are always more appreciated as they offer the best of stainless steel. Sinks require little cares and minimum time to maintain unchanged their brightness and brilliance. Alcohol or vinegar-based neutral detergents are recommended for cleaning, above all it’s optimal the use of the cleaning cream “Buffel Inox”. After use your sink should be dried with a microfibre cloth in order to prevent the forming of matt areas. Buffel Inox and microfibre cloth are available on demand with the sink purchase. The satin-finish steel should be washed and dried in the direction of the finishing. Do not leave wet sponges, salt, corrosive substances, hot or ferrous objects on the sinks for long periods of time. Improper use of the sink can cause scuffs and scratches. Do not use it as a work surface for cutting. For a correct installation of the filotop sinks, besides the fitting hole, it’s necessary to also a drop of 1,5 mm following the measures indicated in the scheme. 3 - Prima di procedere con l’installazione della stessa, pulire accuratamente la sede e stendere la guarnizione lungo tutto il perimetro del ribasso. Before proceeding with the installation of the sinks, clean very carefully along the fitting and apply the gasket along all the drop’s perimeter. 4 - Inserire il lavello in corrispondenza al foro. Insert the sink in the fitting hole. 5 - Fissare le viti dei ganci con apposito cacciavite tanto da bloccare definitivamente il lavello. NB: non usare avvitatori elettrici. Fix the screws of the fixing clips with a proper screwdriver, enought to lock definitively sink. 22 La superficie del lavello in acciaio presenta una resistenza nel trattenere l’acqua perciò si possono formare dei ristagni, eliminabili semplicemente con un panno assorbente. Questa particolarità è da attribuire alla viscosità dell’acqua, alla sua composizione chimica ad alla finitura del lavello; situazione che si accentua maggiormente nei primi mesi di vita del lavello. L’acqua viene trattenuta proprio per la coesione che si forma tra i due elementi. Per verificare questo fenomeno basti osservare come vengono trattenute le gocce d’acqua su una parete verticale tipo un vetro od uno specchio. E’ importante prestare attenzione anche alla qualità dell’acqua, non solo per la quantità di calcare, ma anche per la percentuale di ferro che, qualora sia elevata, potrebbe causare la formazione di macchie scure simili alla ruggine. E’ sempre da tener presente che eventuali macchie rossastre o altre macchie chiamate impropriamente ruggine, sono dovute solamente dal deterioramento o dall’ossidazione di materiali esterni al lavello stesso.Talvolta anche gli alimenti possono macchiare l’acciaio (come il limone ad esempio), pertanto non bisogna lasciare per lungo tempo a contatto con il lavello cibi acidi o con alta percentuale di sale. Anche il sale da cucina se depositato per lungo tempo sull’acciaio (anche una settimana) crea degli aloni, fino ad arrivare in casi estremi alla corrosione. Questi sono casi estremi, quando si trascura la pulizia. The stainless-steel sink surface has a resistance to hold water and, for this reason, can appear some “water ponds”, simply eliminable with an absorbent cloth. This particularity is due to the water viscosity, to its chemical composition and to the sink finishing: situation that is more accentuated during the first life months of the sink. The water is withheld for the cohesion between the two elements. To verify this case, it’s enough to observe, for example, as the water drops are withheld even in a vertical wall, like a mirror a glass. It is important to pay attention also to the quality of water, not only for the quantity of limestone but, also for the percentage of iron that, when high, may cause dark marks similar to rust. It’s always necessary to keep in mind that eventual reddish spots, or other spots, improperly named rust, are due only to the degradation or to the oxidation of external material to the sink itself. Sometimes, also foods can mark the steel (lemon, for example). Therefore, not leave acidic foods, or with a high percentage of salt, in contact with the sink for a long time. Kitchen salt too, if it is laid on the steel for a long time (also one week) creates some halos, up to arrive, in extreme cases, to corrosion. This is due when cleaning is neglected. 23 CMSpA Il lavello in acciaio inox, necessita di pochi ma importanti accorgimenti per rimanere immutato nel tempo: Just a few important measures will ensure that a stainless steel sink remains unchanged over time: Utilizzare esclusivamente detergenti neutri, stendendoli con un panno morbido o pelle scamosciata, seguendo il senso della satinatura. Use only mild detergents and apply them with a soft cloth or suede to remove light dirt or fingerprints, in the direction of the satin finish. Risciacquare abbondantemente con acqua pulita. Rinse with plenty of clean water. Asciugare tempestivamente con panno morbido, seguendo la satinatura. Promptly dry with a soft cloth in the direction of the satin finish. Per evitare aloni o tracce di calcare non lasciare appoggiate per lungo tempo le spugne bagnate o altri oggetti che potrebbero creare macchie e togliere lucentezzaall’acciaio. To prevent streaks or traces of limescale, do not leave wet sponges or other objects on the surface for a long time, as they could cause staining and dull the shine of the stainless steel. Soluzioni corrosive, utensili ferrosi (es.forbici) non vanno assolutamente lasciate nella superficie in acciaio. Do not leave corrosive solutions or ferrous tools (e.g. scissors) on the steel surface. Raccomandiamo di non lasciare per lungo tempo a contato con il lavello cibi acidi o con alta percentuale di sale, se questo dovesse accadere consigliamo di sciacquare abbondantemente. We do not recommend leaving acidic foods or those with high salt content in contact with the sink for a long time. If this happens, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly. Suggeriamo di pulire settimanalmente con un prodotto cremoso specifico come il “Buffel Inox”, raccomandato da CM, applicandolo puro (non diluito) con un pannocarta, seguendo il verso di satinatura. We suggest weekly cleaning with a specific creamy product recommended by CM, such as “Buffel Inox”. Apply it pure (undiluted) with a paper towel in the direction of the satin finish.
